The 411 on Veneers, with Hollywood's Go-To Cosmetic Dentist; Best Face Creams+Washes; and Wedding Colognes...

Plenty of new content to keep you content.

Hello Blue Princes, and happy May!

Coming to you with a download of what we’ve been working on here at Blue Print for the past few weeks. Starting with the latest episode of SPIFFY, featuring the skateboarding cosmetic dentist to the stars, Dr. Jon Marashi.

Marashi and I spoke about veneers, and he addressed my skepticisms around cost (upfront and down the line, including future accessibility). We addressed cautionary tales—that comparison of “need vs. want” veneers, and how no-prep veneers work. I have to admit, I did a 180 on my own willingness to endorse them, mainly because I learned when to do so and how to frame it.

Marashi is behind some extremely famous smiles, like Kate Hudson, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Tony Hawk, Vin Diesel, and more. Also, he’s so media trained; I hope he comes back on the pod or on some Blue Print videos in the future, because the guy is an educator as much as he is an innovator.

Here’s a snippet of our chat:

You can listen to the episode on Spotify, Apple, and YouTube, or you can read the Q&A (FAQ style!) below, which has some bonus information that we had to cut for time. And thank you to SURI with their sleek electric toothbrushes, for sponsoring this episode!

Don’t forget to subscribe to SPIFFY, wherever you get your podcasts…

Here’s the other newness; we are churning away at some key ecomm categories across skin, hair, shave right now, so I admit, it’s not hard hitting journalism but it is nevertheless my gift to you!

Client Work—Weddings, Web, and Print

I am packing for a big trip to the US of A this week… baby bro Hurly is getting married! Which reminds me to share the my latest for GQ US—because he’s not the only Hurly Bro getting married this spring:

And speaking of GQ, here’s a piece that originally ran in print in British GQ, in their April-May issue, featuring my global grooming rolodex—I love the illustrations by Samuel Tonsky:

I had an Esquire print spot as well, covering the spectrum of hair loss fates… shared with my editor Chris Hatler and freelance pal Paul Schrodt:

And here are two Robb Report ditties on hair loss treatments—exosomes and at-home laser caps:

Which reminds me, we are coming up on the 1-year anniversary of my friend’s own hair transplant, which we’ve been documenting on YouTube. We’re a bit delayed getting those latest videos up (I have 6 in the tank, 6 more to make) so watch this space for the incredible results that he is sprouting lately…

And with that, farewell! Have a great week.

Thanks for reading.
