New Contributors, Our NYC Event, and a Podcast on the Horizon
A Man for Himself collab too—plus some drive-by ideas for next week's big sales.

Hey Blue Princes! Happy almost Thanksgiving to the stateside readers, and happy BFCM to all the shoppers out there. I feel like I’m meant to have some big pitch for you on all the deals you’re meant to buy up… but tbh, just consider the products in my roundups and see if they’re on sale, aye? Here are a couple categories to consider:
Obviously electric shavers (that link will have you choose between rotary and foil), because there is some major coin to be saved when you get 20-30% discounts. Ditto for beard trimmers and body groomers. I would even say, stock up on new hair stylers or something pragmatic like volumizing shampoo. Some of our Blue Ribbon winners may be on sale (that’s not up to me!), including some of our latest adds… from ZitSticka [newly rebranded] to Church California to Atwater.
You can even go for some high-investment skincare like Vitamin C. (Oh wait, don’t stock up on that one, famously bc of its shelf stability. Maybe get two bottles max.)
You get the picture. Happy hunting!
Coming Soon: Our Men’s Grooming Podcast
My next newsletter will be an exciting one: Blue Print at 1 year, as well as the launch of our men’s grooming podcast. We have a couple episodes banked already, and are putting on the final touches. More soon, but so excited to share that with you and the world.
The Latest Blue Print Videos + Articles
Something I am really excited about and proud of: Our recent collaborations and freelance commissions. One goal I have with Blue Print is for it to be an outlet, not just me being a standalone influencer. I want lots of voices on this channel, I want it to be a conversation. (Hence that podcast on the horizon too!)

Some highlights of late:
I filmed a few videos with Robin James (Man for Himself) in Edinburgh a month ago. He is the literal blueprint for building out content around men’s grooming… he’s been at it for well over a decade. The two clips that are live are spotlights on his grooming brand Anforh’s latest launches (3 fragrances and 2 hair stylers). A third video (upcoming) on his channel will showcase 3 of my all-time favorite fragrances.
We’ve got more voices on the site, including fellow GQ writers Michael Stefanov, Dean Stattmann and Leon Hedgepeth, plus GQ alum and Esquire editor Garrett Munce (watch for him on Episode 2 of the upcoming podcast, too).
From those guys (and myself), we’ve got brand spotlights on Dividends (streamlined 4-step skincare, by Stefanov), Leon spot-lit 2 fragrance houses (Prague’s Pigmentarium, and New Zealand’s Abel). I did one on Brooklyn’s own Rite of Way, and a flavonoids download with MARK Los Angeles.
Garrett hopped on mic for his favorite 2025 fragrance launches (all of which feel ultra cozy for fall+winter too), Stefanov gave us his 5 desert-island grooming product picks, and Dean did a test run of California Born’s ‘Days of Dirt’ hair cream.
More soon from our contributors, with a couple other names lined up!
We’re about to roll out ~10 videos we filmed with Blind Barber in NYC too, over the next couple months, across facial hair and hair care. And, we’re still adding to our hair transplant series per uzh—which will have Matt’s 6-month progress update in coming weeks (spoiler, he looks awesome).
Fresh Flows with Blind Barber
Thank you to everyone who came to our event in New York last month, and to Jeff + Blind Barber for hosting us (as well as to our event supporters Hims + Philips Norelco + Philips Sonicare + Boulevard Brewing).
I wish I could have spoken with everyone much longer, but thanks for letting me feel like the beau of the ball and to see so many terrific readers, viewers, founders, and friends in one space. And thank you to Karim Olen Ash for the fantastic soundtrack, as well as my brother Sam for being my own personal paparazzi all night.
Here are some snaps from the event— more at the Blue Print instagram if you click through.
That’s that on that, dear readers. Oh, and while I have you, why not read up on my recent Robb Report article on a beloved fragrance brand strangelove? It was a joy to talk to founder Elizabeth Gaynes and creative director Helena Christensen (yes, that one) for the piece.

I’ve been loving their scents for years; afirewithin is an all-time fav of mine. André wore it last weekend, for my amusement, to GQ Portugal’s Night of the Year party. (I opted for Krigler’s astounding re-issue of Velvet Night 76.)

At GQ Portugal’s NOTY party last weekend. We smelled GREAT.
Stay tuned for our 1-year benchmark, and the launch of our new podcast.
Thanks for reading. —Adam ![]() |
