Introducing SPIFFY, Our New Men's Grooming Podcast (Plus Blue Print at 1 Year)
And 1M+ views on YouTube!

Today is a big day, ye Princes of Blue. It is our 1-year birthday, and also the day we launch…
SPIFFY, our new men’s grooming podcast.
You can click here to find it on Apple, Spotify, or YouTube.

A huge thank you to our first core sponsors, Philips Norelco and hims, for helping to fund this project, and to allow us to hire our producer, Hady Mawajdeh (whom I met doing a hair transplant podcast episode for Vox in January; he’s a pdocast producer there).
SPIFFY will publish on a (roughly) every-other-week cadence. I know better than to overpromise when a team is small and lean. In short, you’ll eat when I feed you!
Episodes 1 and 2 are up now:
Episode 1 is about FACELIFTS, and has chats with facial plastic surgeon Dr. Sam Rizk, aesthetics journalist Tatiana Boncompagni, as well as the legendary dentist Dr. Larry Rosenthal (who got a facelift from Dr. Rizk). We discuss how men’s lifts differ from women’s, why facelifts look so good now, the recovery experience, and how to potentially lower the costs of the procedure without compromising on results or safety.
Episode 2 tackles WHOLE BODY DEODORANT, and I am joined by my fellow men’s grooming vet Garrett Munce (Esquire, GQ, Men’s Health) to deep dive into the what+why of this now-ubiquitous category, and to do a little value judgment amongst ourselves. Garrett also wrote about the category for Blue Print.
And in every episode, I will also pick a product of the week (often 2…) that I am loving—could be new, or classic, or an entire brand.
PLEASE: Listen, leave us a five-star review (it helps!!) and share it with your friends.
I want this podcast to be held in the same light as my other industry favs, like Gloss Angeles, Fat Mascara, Perfume Room, Naked Beauty, Smell Ya Later, etc, but with my own spin on things. I hope you all hold it to that standard too! Here are some easy links, too:

Blue Print at 1 Year
As of today, Blue Print is 1! I think normally that milestone would get its own newsletter, but I wanted the podcast to take focus this week.
That said, it feels weird to call ourselves “1”, because we’ve been working on Blue Print for an extra two years on top of that, slowly, steadily, in our free hours each night. Tirelessly. (Love you, André.)
There is one thing I have repeated to myself over and over this year: Let yourself be 1. In other words, be un-precious. Try anything, everything, it all helps. (I think it’s akin to that hackneyed “move fast and break things” mantra that startups used to use.)
We have some days where we get hundreds of YouTube subscribers, other days we lose 1 or 2. (Hey, we are nearing 35K, should hit it this week, so most days are net gains…) Also, we passed 1M YouTube views last month too—at 1.25M now—without any viral hits. I say that as a win; my content aims to educate, to find you when you need it, not to burn hot and fast or compete with all the f$#&$% noise.
Above all, I thank those of you who are lifting Blue Print up in its early stages. Readers, viewers, listeners (!!), friends, writers, brands and publicists. I won’t be forgetting that help. A 1-year old needs a lift, after all.
If you are a brand or publicist, auditing your final 2025 budgets or looking at 2026, we put together a partnership sheet that outlines ways you can work with Blue Print next year too. Think web series, podcast sponsorship, freelance writer budget, brand storytelling, etc.
It all works towards our goal: To be the #1 men’s grooming authority…
But aren’t I already? 😉 (I’m also learning to celebrate myself a bit more this year too.)
From André, from me, thank you!
Thanks for reading. —Adam ![]() |
