Plus, an update on the Robb Report Grooming Awards.

Hey Blue Princes— checking in this month with a download of our latest coverage.
But up top, a note for publicists and brands: I just saw the fabulous Men’s Health Grooming Awards go live, and it reminded me to remind you that we pushed back this year’s Robb Report Grooming Awards. Typically we call for nominations in April for a May/June rollout, but this year we will call in July ish and publish around September. Just FYI! (Oh, and peep my latest Spring Scents roundup for RR, newly updated with 2026’s best offering.)
Now, let’s get into Blue Print’s latest.
SPIFFY Dives Deep with Celebrity Groomers
We chatted with two prominent celebrity groomers on the latest two episodes of SPIFFY, a men’s grooming podcast. First, with Kristen Shaw (core clients include Jonathan Bailey, David Corenswet, Brandon Sklenar, Seth Rogen, Ben Affleck…) to focus on the career as a whole, especially as it pertains to awards season. If you’re curious about the multi-talented people behind your favorite A-listers during red carpets, press junkets, awards season, galas etc… then it’s an enlightening listen.
Thank you to Philips Norelco for sponsoring that episode with their OneBlade 360 Face + Body.
As a social exclusive, we also shouted out our favorite celeb grooming of this year’s Oscars season.
Secondly, last week we had a special video episode of SPIFFY with Aika Flores, the superstar groomer who met Hudson Williams early in his Heated Rivalry rise—and who has been on nearly every leg of the Beatlesmania-esque ride.
Aika and I spoke about his most iconic hairstyles of the tour so far, and even discuss how to style that heartthrob mane for oneself (regardless of hair texture). Watch the chat here on YouTube, or read about it on our site. We chat about how they first met, a certain oiled-up Wonderland shoot, and his endearingly chaotic skincare video for The Cut.
Thank you American Crew for sponsoring that talk; we “prescribed” AC products for achieving the heartthrob style based on each hair texture. The video took off in Heated Rivalry corners of the web, with 50K views on YouTube already. I built out a separate page on our site with that hair styling tutorial, too, populated with those American Crew stylers per Aika’s recommendations.
Then we shared our first snippet, about how to style Hudson’s Oscars wet style; it has 280K on IG with 2K+ shares, and is cooking nicely on other social channels.
And our second one, dedicated to picking specific American Crew stylers based on one’s hair type, just rolled out, too:
Check Out Our New Website!
We just relaunched Blue-Print.co mid month, and oh how good it feels!
When we launched Blue Print in December 2024, we had maybe 30 articles on the site. That made it a bit odd to have a traditional editorial-style website (with category pages across hair, skin, fragrance, etc), especially since we can only publish a couple articles a week with 2 people on our core team. Instead, we focused on solution-driven framework (swass, oily skin, acne etc), and built out a custom site tailored to those things.
SO, we took a step back in Q1 of this year, and migrated over to a simpler, streamlined site—each category has plenty of articles now, since we have 100+. And I have to say, it looks pretty dang legit! Give it a peek, eh? Now we can build articles in a jiffy (about 5x faster than our previous custom design) which means... more articles (and with more voices, too).
In fact, you can check out one of our latest posts, from fellow GQer Dean Stattmann writing about his favorite sheet masks after testing 50+.
We’re updating old articles, building out new ones for core content like beard trimmers, manscapers, and even backdated SPIFFY episodes (like our first one, on men’s facelifts).
Visiting Tatara Razors in Porto, Portugal
We recently went to Porto for a pair of videos with brands, the first of which rolled out a month ago: Our spotlight on luxury razormakers Tatara Razors. The trio of founders have a background in engineering (one even supervises a CNCing factory) so we got to see exactly how they cut each of their beautiful, hefty shavers. And we got a peek at their new Natu line, which offers a more accessible price point for shavers.
Expect much more destination-based content on Blue Print’s YouTube in the not-so-distant future!
There is so much in store this year with Blue Print—content, travel, events—and I appreciate you following along for the ride.
I’ll leave you with this little video I did with Robin James of Man for Himself; we filmed it in October in Edinburgh, but it’s just newly live on IG. I pick three of my all-time favorite scents, which would all be terrific “signature scents” for the average guy:
Until next time, Blue Princes! Take care.
Thanks for reading. —Adam ![]() |
